WILL CBD DOG TINCTURE GET MY DOG HIGH?

No. The CBD oil we use in all of our CBD products is derived from the form of cannabis called hemp. Hemp, by law, contains less than 0.3% THC, which is the cannabinoid that people use to get high. THC, by the way, is toxic for dogs, cats, and other pets, so never give your dog products that contain marijuana (the form of cannabis that is high in THC). To make our pet CBD even safer, we use a form of CBD called broad spectrum CBD oil, which removes even the tiny, non-intoxicating trace amounts of THC found in hemp oil.

HOW DO I GIVE CBD TINCTURE TO MY DOG?

Some pets enjoy taking an oil tincture right from the plastic dropper. This seems to be particularly true with our new vegan chicken flavor, which dogs love! Other dogs may prefer to have the oil drops added to their food, water, or a favorite treat.

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CBD OIL FOR HUMANS AND DOGS?

We use only human-grade ingredients in all of our pet tinctures, including our CBD Dog Tincture. That means the exact same CBD oil and MCT oil that we use in our “human tinctures” is what we use in our CBD oil tinctures for dogs and our CBD oil for cats. The only difference is that the mg of CBD is much less in a dog tincture (particularly our small dog and medium dog formulations), and we don’t flavor our human CBD oils with natural vegan chicken flavors.

WITH CBD FOR DOGS, HOW MUCH PER WEIGHT?

There is no universal CBD serving size for humans, dogs or other pets. And, unlike humans, dogs aren’t able to vocalize to you how the CBD is affecting them. Weight, then, becomes the best measuring tool for establishing how much CBD your dog (or cat) should have. The amount of CBD increases in relation to the weight of the animal, meaning that a larger, heavier animal is going to require a much larger serving of CBD than one that is smaller and lighter. Height can also be used as an indicator of CBD intake, and can be treated in a similar fashion. Our CBD Dog Tincture comes in four strengths: 250mg for small dogs (under 20lb), 500mg for medium dogs (20–60lb), 1000mg for large dogs (over 60lb), and 2000mg extra strength for larger dogs (over 100lb).

We have a 9 year old rescue dog who lived with a family for 8 years after her rescue as a puppy. She was returned to the rescue group last year. We fostered/adopted her. Her anxiety to strangers, other dogs, etc. is intense. She's been on the CBD oil for a week or so, and it does seem to be helping her a lot. We just want her to have a happy life with less anxiety. The CBS for dogs really helps my senior maltipoo with his inflammation and arthritis. I like that it is liquid making it easy to give it to him. The berry buzz work well on my back problems. I have tried other brands of straight CBS and they don't work as well . That small amount of the makes all the difference! We got this for our 17 yr old Beagle who has sundown syndrome(dementia). After giving her this her anxiety goes away and she is is very alert and calm. Great product!

I have purchased this cbd for my dogs for a few years.
My boys get it usually when fireworks like tonight NYE.
It helps so much and my dogs don't mind it.
My girl a current pitte rescue with alot to get over takes it to calm her and helps her sleep to heal.
Sadly I just got a new bottle and while giving it to them tonight due to fireworks one dog knocked it over and I lost half on sofa. Ordering more... lol
