What is the shelf life of Elixnol

How is CBD extracted?

There are many ways to extract CBD from the hemp plant. At Elixinol we use super critical CO2 extraction. By controlling the temperature, time and pressure, we are able to extract exactly what we want from the plant. Though this process is more expensive, it allows us to gather a premier extract without using any harsh solvents.

Why can't I apply your CBD hemp balms on my face?

The skin on the face is much thinner than that on the rest of your body. There are also many more oil glands as well as hair follicles. Using products that are designed for the body on your face can cause clogged pores as well as other skin reactions. If you are interested in using CBD in your skincare regime you can add a couple of drops of our natural tincture to any of your current moisturizers.

Is it possible to overdose on CBD?

Taking too much CBD will not have the same common “overdose” reactions that most people associate with schedule 1 drugs. Unless someone has a cannabis allergy, taking too much CBD will probably just make them a little sleepy. For some people who have sensitive stomachs, they might experience a few “tummy issues.”

How is hemp different from marijuana?

From cultivation cycles to end uses, hemp and marijuana are fairly different pants. Though they both come the genus (cannabis) but the main difference is that marijuana typically contains anywhere from 5-20% THC, Hemp contains no more that 0.3% THC but has high quantities of CBD.

I’m used to cream, I like the spread ability of it. The balm may be less messy, although I didn’t have a problem with the cream I used. Also is not carryon friendly. I find I use it less because of those reasons. Hard to measure the effectiveness, but I gave it a 4 anyway.

When it said roll on I thought liquid (like other pain relieving roll ons), however this is a stick (like deodorant). I can't wonder but that the wax in the stick is keeping the helpful products cbd, etc from absorbing like the lotion. I don't think it works as well. Will go back to the sports cream.
